Why don't I see "Free Shipping"?

You will always pay more for "Free Shipping".

What about Free Shipping? We field this question a lot. We know that "Free Shipping" is all the rage on the internet these days. It's also the biggest hustle. Here's why: All "Free shipping" outlets build shipping and handling into their product list price and call it "Free". By hiding these costs they can (and do) charge you the highest tier for shipping. And worse, if you buy more than one product you have to pay these hidden costs for each item.

When purchasing from us you'll pay just one aggregated shipping rate based on your order's total weight, not per item purchased. We subsidize the shipping costs when you order multiple products from us. At "Free Shipping" outlets you'll receive no shipping discount. In fact you'll pay double.

We don't like being swindled and we won't do that to our customers. You'll never pay more than actual shipping costs and you'll never pay sales tax or handling fees. We offer a live shipping calculator during checkout so you'll know that the out-the-door-cost is the absolute lowest on the internet. Nobody beats our prices. Shop and compare first.

How fast can you ship my order?
We ship via United Parcel Service (UPS), FedEx and on occassion regional freight carriers (LTL) for heavier items. We ship every day M-F (holidays excluded). Unless otherwise noted, your order will ship within 2 business days of receipt of your order and credit card approval. Orders requesting priority shipping must be received by 12:00 PM  E.S.T. to ensure expedited processing. Orders requesting expedited shipping which are received after 12:00 PM  E.S.T. will ship the next business day following processing and *lead times. Click here to estimate time in transit.

*Lead Times: Lead times vary depending on the manufacturer of the item you purchase. Most lead times are 2 business days, but there are some that extend to 5 business days. Please note during holiday seasons lead times for most manufacturers increase due to an increase in volume.

Important: We promise to ship your order as explained above. However, mistakes in shipping beyond our control happen from time to time. In the event of a damaged, delayed or lost shipment we will send out a replacement or issue a full refund immediately. Replacement orders will be shipped using the shipping method selected on the original order. For example, if you order and request ground shipping, the replacement order will also be sent ground. Therefore, we ask that you place your order in plenty of time to accommodate such eventualities.

Order confirmation- Please make sure to enter a valid email address while placing an order. Our shopping cart will email you an order confirmation immediately upon completion of your order. If you do not receive such confirmation please contact us. We do not sell any customer information under any circumstances. See our privacy statement for details. 

Tracking- We will email you with information regarding your order's ship date, arrival date and tracking #. This notification will email within 24 hours of shipping. You may track your order by clicking here (UPS orders).

Special note: Saturday and Sunday are not regular UPS, FedEx, or freight carrier delivery days and should not be considered as such when calculating time in transit. For example, a Next Day Air order made on a Friday will arrive the following Monday, not on Saturday. This applies to holidays as well.

When will my order arrive?

Can I use a P.O.box for a shipping address?
Please use physical addresses only. We can also ship items to UPS stores for your convenience, please notify us prior to submitting your order so we can make arrangements and confirm the UPS store number.

How can I calculate shipping costs for the items I wish to order?
Click on any "ORDER" button and proceed through the shopping cart. Shipping costs are calculated as each item is added. REMEMBER: Your ordered will not be processed until your payment information is entered and submitted. You can exit the shopping cart at any time without committing to an order. Click here for more on shipping costs. Some heavier items will ship freight, however we do not charge freight fees. We only charge Ground shipping for freight shipments and we will cover the remaining freight costs. We enjoy passing this savings on to you.

Why will the shopping cart not allow me to select a shipping method? 
The shopping cart is integrated with a UPS rate table which only goes to 150 lbs. If your order exceeds 150 lbs please place two separate orders. If this doesn't not permit a shipping selection then please contact us.

Notice: National Fire Pit reserves the right to make a selection on the customer's behalf in order to expedite the shipping process if a particular color or design of a product has not been included with the customer's order.
